As an art major in university, one of my required courses was architectural illustration. That course was the inspiration for my pursuit of architecture as a career. During this time, I was fortunate to apprentice in a nationally-recognized architectural firm, learning its various aspects and applications.

After years of apprenticeship, I became a registered architect in the state of Texas also a member of American Institute of Architecture. My primary focus has been architectural design and imaging. I have freelanced for most of my career along with positions of seven years at one large firm and eight years at another.

The principal of a national firm once commented, “Your purpose in architecture is to make investors open their wallets.” That observation helped me to understand the value of my work / my mission.

My imaging skills were further enhanced through a three-year regimen of graduate-level film study courses. Acquisitions of video and audio equipment have greatly augmented my capabilities along with camera drones.

I have always enjoyed painting in watercolor Plein Aire during my travel destinations. Four years ago, I transitioned from watercolor to oil painting. Many years of traveling through Colorado and Europe have given me incredible subject matter.

I truly enjoy all media of my expertise! I welcome new challenges.
